Du style gothique, on connaît les ...

Du style gothique, on connaît les cathédrales, mais l'architecture civile ? Le Palais Jacques Coeur, en plein centre-ville de Bourges, en est un exemple remarquable. Même si vous ne vouliez pas investir dans le prix d'une visite, il faut venir admirer la façade sur rue. Géniale ! Les sculpteurs ont donné tous leurs talents : finesse et réalisme. Il faut prendre le temps de chercher les petites têtes, les scènes scatologiques qui se cachent autour des ouvertures.
La visite guidée permet de mieux connaître ce ministre des finances. Un vitrail montre l'un de ses bateaux de commerce. Sculptures,

Gargouilles, une profusion de détails architecturaux : on en a pour son argent à parcourir le palais de ce grand argentier.
