La maison montre un grand nombre des caractéristiques typiques des maisons de Trinidad, y compris la grande porte d'entrée avec deux petites portes coupées en elle, les barrotes couvrant les grandes fenêtres et un toit de tuiles en terre cuite avec de grands supports en bois. Il est moins typique en ce qu'il présente une saillie s'étendant le long balcon deux côtés. Un côté de la Casa de Aldemán Ortiz fait face à la Calle Simón Bolívar, un peu dans cette voie se trouve le Palais Cantero (Palacio Cantero) l'un des plus grand et le plus impressionnant des maisons entourant la Plaza Mayor.
