Situé au croisement entre la Chartres ...

Situé au croisement entre la Chartres Street et la rue des Ursulines (quoi de plus logique?) le couvent des Ursulines est l'un des principaux monuments historiques de la ville. Remarquable de par son architecture classique, il a été édifié dans les années 1750 à la demande Louis XV. Ce fut à cette époque la première école indienne, la première école catholique et la première école noire. Au début de son histoire, le bâtiment accueillait également des fiches "de petite vertu" pour les remettre dans le droit chemin et leur trouver un mari. Riche histoire donc, pour ce monument particulièrement remarquable.
