Ermoupolis, le plus grand port et la...

Ermoupolis, le plus grand port et la plus grande ville des Cyclades. Au 19è siècle, Ermoupolis fut même pour la Grèce le premier port, avant d'être détroné par Le Pirée. De ce fait, on trouve une véritable place de centre-ville, ainsi que des bâtiments dignes d'une cité importante de province, y compris un théâtre.
Ermoupolis ne manque pas de charmes. Elle subjugue le visiteur dès son arrivée en mer. Des maisons qui n'en finissent pas d'escalader les collines, ponctuées par les dômes imposants des églises. Ermoupolis se découvre à pied, ruelles, escaliers , points de vue ; un régal pour les trekkeurs urbains qui n'ont que l'embarras du choix pour se restaurer dans les environs du port.

Je recommandé l´itinéraire

La Reine des Cyclades, et est considérée comme la belle ville de l’île de Syros, qui détient également le titre de capitale des îles Cyclades.

Elle est la plus importante des villes dans ces îles magnifiques, mais elle n’est pas grande, un jour suffit pour la visiter.

Je vous recommande particulièrement de visiter la place de la mairie, construite au XIXe siècle avec un style néoclassique, le musée archéologique et le théâtre Apollo, une miniature de la Scala de Milan.
