Excellent

L'église de Saint Géry, à Arras, fut construite par Alexandre Grigny au XIXème siècle mais dans l'esprit des églises gothiques du XIIIème siècle, ce qui lui donne cet aspect si ancien. Je me suis particulièrement arrêté devant son portail imposant, profond et finement gravé, mais aussi devant don petit clocher que viennent compléter quatre clochetons. Petite anecdote intéressante, Verlaine adorait le Nord de la France et notamment Arras, où il venait admirer l'église de Saint Géry. Je lui laisse ci la parole : "Au bout d’un bas-côté de l’église gothique, contre le mur que vient baiser le jour mystique
