Big homes -- oh, and those mountains!
Arriving to Beehive is quite the sight – and I’m not talking about the mountains. The trailhead here is a small parking lot and a sign which tells hikers to stay closely on the trail for the next mile – the millionaires don’t want you tramping through their backyards. Yeah – big homes, widely spaced, thick beamed, luxurious. Past the homes, though, the real nature of the place takes over. The canyon bottom is wide and mellow, but heading up the ramparts of upper Beehive gradually grow to fill the skyline. Nice place.
En arrivant à Beehive est tout à fait la vue - et je ne parle pas des montagnes. Le sentier est ici un petit parking et un signe qui indique aux randonneurs de rester près sur la piste pour la prochaine mile - les millionnaires ne vous veulent pas piétinant par leurs arrière-cours. Ouais - grandes maisons, très espacées, épais rayonnait, luxueux. Passé les maisons, cependant, la nature réelle de l"endroit prend le relais. Le fond du canyon est large et moelleux, mais dirige les remparts de la haute Beehive croître progressivement pour remplir la ligne d"horizon. Bel endroit.
